Amaar was assigned to the Five Sisters subsector, far from home. To his fortune, his station was at Karin, a world with a sizeable Aslan population on its nation-state of Apocalypto. The young Aslan was able to interact with others of his kind, and found a mate, named Keah Kuilosea. Keah was and is a loyal wife, understanding her husband’s military lifestyle and long absences.  Amaar was assigned to the Five Sisters subsector, far from home. -During this time, Amaar was learning his craft. With the help of Scout Rutgers van de Ross, Amaar was able to lead his unit to a smashing victory behind enemy lines, letting the main assault attack unimpeded from attack by air. This put Amaar directly in command of a company dealing with terrorists, the Lighted Way, on Mirriam. Unfortunately, the intelligence on the terrorists was faulty. The whole mission was a cluster from the start. The dictator of Mirriam asked for Imperial intervention in what should have been a local matter, but he did not want to be seen putting down what he saw as an insurrection. Amaar, and much of his unit were captured. Amaar was seriously injured in the attack. For weeks they were held by the terrorists until that group was defeated. Amaar was shipped back to Karin onboard the Raum Zauberstab where he became friends with the crewmate Tupper Vilantes. +During this time, Amaar was learning his craft.
